The Health & Wellness Industry

“Consumers are seeking ‘internal self-improvement’ by consuming healthier foods, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and participating in fitness programs. The Next Trillion will be created by a virtually limitless and sustained demand for wellness-based products.”

“The Wellness Industry will soon account for one-seventh — $1 TRILLION DOLLARS—of our nation’s economy, and is already ripe with entrepreneurial opportunities that will eclipse those of today’s Internet-based companies!”

-Paul Zane Pilzer, world-renowned economist, outlined this trend in his speech The Next Trillion: The Wellness Industry in 2010.

QUESTION:  Will you be left behind in this worldwide "Wellness" trend in our economy as the baby boomers try to preserve their health and life-style freedom?

*******The Next Trillion describes in detail how consumers and entrepreneurs can learn how to position themselves to take advantage of the explosive growth of direct sales companies offering products and services which will be a huge part of this economic trend.

Paul Zane Pilzer is uniquely qualified to make these assumptions. He completed college in three years, received his MBA from Wharton in fifteen months at age 22. He was Citibank's youngest officer at age 22, and its youngest vice president at age 25. Pilzer started several businesses - earning his first $1 million dollars before the age of 26 and his first $10 million before age 30.

Pilzer was appointed economic advisor to two Presidential administrations and has been a three time New York Times best selling author.

****In 2004, unkowning yet of the above, I joined the HEALTH & WELLNESS INDUSTRY and since then believed this to be very true and until now the industry seems to be growing more!

I am involved in a very highly consummable health product that requires no additional medical health knowledge for you to sell it.  In fact, consumers crave for it and this is the most important factor for one who wants additional income without any extra effort at all.  No hard sell; no start up kits, low capital, no recruitments, no quotas.....

How To Prepare Resensa

Hello! Myspace Comments
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR
RESENSA

GREEN ICED TEA MIX

TIP : To easily dissolve the powder, use tap or warm water initially because  warm or tap water makes dissolving easier!
Cold water tends to dissolve the powder slower.

1.   Pour about 10 oz of tap/warm water in your glass and then mix RESENSA Green Iced Tea Powder and stir very well until the powder dissolves and mixture turns to green color.

NOTE:  If you have a shaker bottle, you may also use this instead of glass to shake the mix…. or any small bottle with cover will do..  After shaking well, you may now pour the mix in your glass.

2.  Add more water (COLD water this time) to fill a 16-oz glass and stir a little more.  And mixture turns to a more refreshing green color!  You can adjust the water content according to your taste, according to desired sweetness.  More water, less sweet.

3. ADD ICE CUBES if desired. Drink up &  enjoy the healthy goodness of Resensa!

Cheers!  Photobucket

You can also enjoy Resensa as a hot beverage by simply dissolving the powder in a hot cup of water.  Use less powder if the cup holds less than 16 oz water; and for added treat, squeeze a little lemon juice if desired.

Mushrooms, green tea may lower breast cancer risk

By Amy Norton Amy Norton Fri Mar 13, 3:27 pm ET

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) – Women who get plenty of mushrooms and green tea in their diets may have a lower risk of developing breast cancer, new study findings suggest.
The study, of more than 2,000 Chinese women, found that the more fresh and dried mushrooms the women ate, the lower was their breast cancer risk.
The risk was lower still among those who also drank green tea everyday.
It's known that the rate of breast cancer in China is four- to five- times lower than rates typically seen in developed countries -- though the rate has been climbing over the past few decades in the most affluent parts of China.
The current findings suggest that traditional diets -- and specifically, large quantities of mushrooms and green tea -- may help explain China's lower breast cancer incidence, according to lead researcher Dr. Min Zhang, of the University of Western Australia in Perth.
She and her colleagues report the findings in the International Journal of Cancer.
The study was conducted in southeast China and involved 1,009 breast cancer patients between the ages of 20 and 87, and an equal number of healthy women the same age.
All completed a detailed dietary questionnaire that asked them how often they ate specific foods.
Overall, Zhang's team found, women who ate the most fresh mushrooms -- 10 grams or more per day -- were about two thirds less likely to develop breast cancer than non-consumers of mushrooms. Meanwhile, women who ate 4 grams or more of dried mushrooms per day had half the cancer risk of non-consumers.

Finally, mushroom eaters who also drank green tea everyday had only 11 to 18 percent of the breast cancer risk of women who consumed neither.
The study does not prove cause-and-effect, the researchers point out.
They did account for several kinds of risk factors for breast cancer - such as the women's weight, education level, and exercise frequency and smoking habits -- but there could be other factors that explain the findings.
This is also the first study linking high dietary amounts of mushrooms and green tea to lower breast cancer risk, Zhang told Reuters Health.
Therefore, she said, it's too early for women to assume that the foods will help them avoid the cancer.  Still, it is biologically plausible, the researchers point out.
Lab research has shown that mushroom extracts have anti-tumor properties and, in animals, can stimulate the immune system's cancer defenses.

For its part, green tea contains antioxidant compounds called polyphenols that have been shown to fight breast tumors in animals.
